DJ Gavin Roy has performed in Singapore, Australia, Boston and California, at a variety of nightclub and party events, ranging from themed club nights to weddings, corporate events, house parties, kids' parties and bar/bat mitzvahs.

Born and raised in Singapore, Gavin started dabbling in DJing as early as 15. Being president of both the AV Club and Student Council, it was inevitable that entertainment was a big part of every school event.

In 1990, when he finally turned 18 and was able to legally work the clubs, DJ Gavin Roy started his professional carrer as a nightclub DJ with the help of his friends who were already promoters in the exciting Singapore clubscene. He also started work with a mobile DJ company to build his experience in mobile DJing.

Between 1993 and 1995, Gavin spent most of his university years chasing the perfect beat in Perth, Western Australia. Gavin spent most of his college years DJing at several nightclubs and rave events.

In 1996, Gavin moved to Boston, Massachusetts, where he made a name for himself in some of the most competitive clubs in the US.

There he joined Groovepool DJs and also was a club chart reporter for DMA magazine.

Since 1999, Gavin has lived in sunny Santa Barbara, California, where he is the exclusive resident dj at the Wildcat Lounge and appears at some of the city's most respected dance venues.

Gavin is the founder and owner of Santa Barbara DJs, a prefessional licensed and insured mobile dj service for private events in the greater Southern California region.

In 2007, Gavin was voted by Santa Barbara Independent readers as the city's Best Club DJ. He has opened for reknowned DJs such as Sandra Collins, Dave Aude and Christopher Lawrence.
